NORDSTROM rack will soon open their third Atlanta area store on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta. The store will occupy the former Ben's Furniture space and is scheduled to
open April 19th. Nordstrom joins the well-leased North Point MarketCenter with such tenants as Target, Marshall's, Regal Cinemas and Dick's Sporting Goods.

NORDSTROM rack's first Georgia location opened near the Mall of Georgia about ten years ago and was followed by a second store in 2010 at the Buckhead Loop shopping center. Both of these stores, unlike the upcoming North Point location, are minutes from full line stores at Mall of Georgia and Phipps Plaza, respectively.
Last year, Nordstrom revamped their markdown policies and as a result, their recent deals have been nothing special. In my opinion, better bargains can be found at the likes of Marshall's and T.J. Maxx, but I'm sure the store will do well given the affluent area in which it is opening.
