The Varsity is no longer opening in North Buckhead
Last month I was first to announce that The Varsity planned to open in the shuttered FIVE GUYS restaurant at Wieuca-Roswell Shopping Center. Within the past couple weeks, the deal to to put the iconic Atlanta restaurant in the north Buckhead shopping center fell apart, apparently because of an unspecified parking issue at the center.

There are said to be multiple other concepts interested in taking the space so expect news on this very soon.
In the meantime, look for a new FIVE GUYS to open at CNN Center early next year.
